Got questions?
Tea cycling is the practice of drinking specific herbal teas that align with different phases of your menstrual cycle.
Each phase of your cycle has unique hormonal patterns and physiological needs, so by matching specific herbs to each phase, you provide your body with targeted support exactly when it needs it.
Our three-tea system is designed to support you through menstruation (Comfort), follicular/ovulatory phases (Nourish), and the luteal phase (Balance).
We're the first tea company to focus on phase-specific cycle support rather than treating your entire cycle the same way. While other companies offer generic "women's wellness" or "cycle support" teas, we recognize that your menstrual phase (days 1-5) has completely different needs than your follicular phase (days 6-17) or luteal phase (days 18-28).
This innovation allows us to provide targeted herbal support that matches your body's actual hormonal patterns and physiological needs throughout your cycle, rather than offering the same generic blend all month long.
Yes, we use certified organic herbs whenever possible. All our ingredients are carefully sourced from trusted suppliers and tested for purity, potency, and quality. We prioritize organic and wildcrafted herbs that are grown without harmful pesticides or chemicals.
Follow your menstrual cycle phases:
•Days 1-5 (Menstrual Phase): Drink Menstrual "Comfort" Tea
•Days 6-17 (Follicular/Ovulatory Phases): Drink Follicular "Nourish" Tea
•Days 18-28 (Luteal Phase): Drink Luteal "Balance" Tea
If your cycle is different from 28 days, adjust accordingly. The key is matching the tea to what your body is experiencing rather than strict day counts.
We would argue that tea cycling can be even more beneficial for irregular cycles. You can:
•Track your cycle as best you can and follow the general pattern
•Follow symptoms (e.g., if you're experiencing PMS-like symptoms, try the Luteal "Balance" Tea)
•Start with a standard 28-day pattern and see if your body begins to regulate over time
We recommend 1-2 cups of your phase-appropriate tea daily. You can go up to 3-4 cups if your body is needing extra support.
Consistency is more important than quantity—one cup daily is better than occasional larger amounts.
For optimal benefits:
•Menstrual "Comfort" Tea: Steep 1 tea bag covered for 7-10 minutes in water just off the boil (195-205°F)
•Follicular "Nourish" Tea: Steep 1 tea bag covered for 7-10 minutes in hot water (190-200°F)
•Luteal "Balance" Tea: Steep 1 tea bag covered for 7-10 minutes in hot water (190-200°F)
Always cover your tea while steeping to retain beneficial volatile oils. Remove the tea bag after steeping.
While it's best to stick to your phase-appropriate tea for optimal benefits, occasional overlap is generally fine. For example, if you're transitioning between phases or need specific support (like extra calming from the Luteal tea during a stressful time), it's usually okay. However, for the core tea cycling practice, consistency with your phase-specific tea is recommended.
Results vary from person to person:
•Acute symptoms (like cramps): Many women notice improvements within the first cycle
•Systemic benefits (like improved PMS, cycle regularity, or overall energy): Typically require 2-3 cycles of consistent use
•Long-term benefits: Continue to develop with ongoing use
Patience and consistency are key to experiencing the full benefits of tea cycling.
